Analysis of Monitoring Results of Pesticide Residues in Fruits and Vegetables in Baoji in 2023
Objective:To understand the pesticide residue of fruits and vegetables sold in the 2023 markets in Baoji city,Shaanxi province,and to provide a reference basis for market regulation.Method:Selected 216 seasonal fruits and vegetables from 12 supermarkets and farmers'markets in Baoji in 2023 randomly.And use gas chromatography to test chlorpyrifos,omethoate,isocarbophos,triazophos,ethoprophos,profenofos,methamidophos.Result:There are 39 samples were found to contain pesticide residues,with a detection rate of 18.06%(39/216).There are 4 samples were found to be over the limit of pesticide use,with an over-standard rate of 1.86%(4/216).And chlorpyrifos was the highest(1.39%),omethoate was the second(0.46%),and no substandard samples were found for other 5 pesticides.Conclusion:Although the safety of fruits and vegetables in Baoji is good,but some pesticide residues still exceed the legal limit.The relevant departments need to strengthen supervision over the production,sale and use of pesticides.
