Determination of 5 Oxides in Food Packaging Glass by Atomic Absorption Spectrometry
Objective:To establish a method for determining the content of five oxides, namely iron trioxide, calcium oxide, magnesium oxide, potassium oxide, and sodium oxide,in food packaging glass by atomic absorption spectroscopy.Method:The sample was moistened with water, dissolved with acid, diluted with water and hydrochloric acid after cooling, fixed volume, shaken, and tested by atomic absorption spectrophotometer.Result:The linear relationship of the five oxides was good, with correlation coefficients greater than 0.999,relative standard deviation of 0.31%to 5.60%,and recovery rates of 91.0%to 98.8%.Conclusion:This method is simple to operate, has high accuracy and good precision, and is suitable for batch detection of 5 types of oxide content in food packaging glass.
