Research on Safety Assessment and Inspection Technology of Food Additives
Food additives are widely used in modern food industry to improve food quality,extend shelf life,increase nutritional value,and enhance taste.However,with the increasing variety and quantity of food additives used,there has been increasing concern about their safety.This article provides a certain discussion on the safety assessment of food additives,clarifying the definition,purpose,and basic process of safety assessment.Based on this,it further explores the safety assessment methods and indicators of food additives,mainly including toxicology,ingestion,and metabolic kinetics.Combined with the characteristics of food additives,it discusses their testing techniques,Furthermore,it provides technical support for the rational use of food additives.
