Study on Antibacterial and Antimicrobial Effects and Mechanism of Eugenol
In recent years, the research on antibacterial activity of eugenol mainly focuses on plant disease prevention and control, aquaculture, food microbial contamination and human fungal infection. The main target microorganisms and fungi involved are Staphylococcus aureus,Escherichia coli, mold,Candida albicans,Salmonella typhimurium,Pseudomonas fluorescens,Shewanella putrefaciens,Aspergillus fumigatus,Malassezia,Trichophyton rubrum, etc.,which provides a reference for the application of eugenol in food preservation, plant protection, human fungal infection treatment and other fields.
