Research Progress in the Detection of Chlorpromazine Residues in Animal Food
As a representative sedative of phenothiazines, chlorpromazine is often used to limit animal activities and reduce nutrient consumption in livestock and fishery breeding to promote animal growth and weight gain.Chlorpromazine residues in animal foods have potential risks to human health. Therefore, rapid and accurate determination of chlorpromazine residues in animal foods is essential to ensure food safety. This paper summarizes the research progress of the detection methods of chlorpromazine residues in animal foods in recent years, including chromatography,chromatography-mass spectrometry, immunoassay, electrochemical analysis and capillary electrophoresis, aiming to provide reference for the detection of chlorpromazine residues in animal foods.
