Epidemiological Trends of Foodborne Diseases in a District of Changsha City from 2021 to 2023
Objective:To provide scientific basis for the prevention and control of foodborne diseases in the future by analyzing the epidemic characteristics and trend of foodborne diseases in a district of Changsha city.Method:The number of food-borne disease cases reported in a district of Changsha city from 2021 to 2023 was collected,and SPSS 18.0 was used for statistical analysis to describe the time,space,population epidemic characteristics of the cases and the types of suspected pathogenic foods.Result:The number of food-borne disease cases in a district of Changsha from 2021 to 2023 was 1 076,and the incidence of different years had statistical significance(P<0.05),showing an increasing trend year by year.The number of food-borne disease cases occurred in all age groups,with the largest number of 21~30 years old(282 cases(26.21%)),and the highest incidence season was in summer and autumn.The main categories of suspected pathogenic food are:aquatic animals and their products,meat and meat products,food and their products.Conclusion:The number of cases of foodborne diseases in a district of Changsha city showed an increasing trend year by year from 2021 to 2023.During this period,the cases of foodborne diseases showed an obvious seasonal pattern in summer and autumn,and the majority of the cases were 21~30 years old.Attention should be paid to the phenomenon of high incidence among students.
