Effects of a Compound Nutrient Powder on Growth Performance and Amino Acid Content of Zebrafish
Objective:To study the effects of"maternal compound nutrition powder"on growth performance and amino acid content of zebrafish.Method:Wild type 2-month-old AB strain zebrafish were selected and divided into 5 treatment groups(complex nutrient powder concentration were 1.0 mg·mL-1,2.0 mg·mL-1,4.0 mg·mL-1,8.0 mg·mL-1,16.0 mg·mL-1)and negative group were administered twice a day to determine the maximum tolerated concentration(MTC).Three concentration gradient groups(1/4 MTC,1/2 MTC and MTC),positive group and negative group were designed, and the data in terms of weight gain rate, specific growth rate and amino acid content were compared by using zebrafish model.Result:The maximum tolerance concentration of compound nutrition powder to normal zebrafish was 1.0 mg·mL-1.When the concentrations were 0.50 mg·mL-1 and 1.00 mg·mL-1,the weight gain rate and specific growth rate of 2-month-old zebrafish were significantly increased. The contents of total amino acid and essential amino acid of zebrafish were significantly increased by adding compound nutrition powder. Conclusion:The compound nutrition powder can significantly improve the growth performance and amino acid content of zebrafish.
