Analysis of 13 Nutrient Elements in Drinking Water in Zibo City in 2023
Objective:To investigate the content level and distribution characteristics of 13 nutrient elements lithium, boron, potassium, sodium, calcium, magnesium, manganese, iron, copper, zinc, selenium, strontium, and barium in the drinking water of Zibo city in 2023.Method:The nutrient element in 359 samples of drinking water in Zibo city were detected by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry.Non-parametric test was used to compare whether there were significant differences in nutrient element content in drinking water between southern mountain area and northern plain area, between wet season and dry season. The content of strontium and lithium in drinking water of Zibo city and the lower limit of strontium and lithium content stipulated in the GB 8537-2018 was compared.Result:The median contents of lithium, boron, potassium, sodium, calcium, magnesium, manganese, iron, copper, zinc, selenium, strontium, and barium in drinking water in Zibo city were 0.011 2 mg·L-1、0.035 6 mg·L-1、25.8 mg·L-1、26.6 mg·L-1、2.15 mg·L-1、23.4 mg·L-1、0.000 30 mg·L-1、0.005 23 mg·L-1、0.000 45 mg·L-1、0.000 40 mg·L-1、0.000 37 mg·L-1、0.508 mg·L-1、0.092 3 mg·L-1,respectively.The maximum values of sodium and manganese were 1 178.6 mg·L-1 and 0.342 mg·L-1,respectively,exceeding the limit standards(200 mg·L-1 and 0.1 mg·L-1,respectively).The content of lithium, boron, potassium, sodium, magnesium, iron, copper, strontium, and selenium in drinking water in the northern plain area was higher than that in the southern mountainous area(P<0.05).The zinc and selenium content during the flood season was higher than that during the dry season(P<0.05).The median concentration of strontium was 0.508 mg·L-1,which was significantly higher than the lower limit of strontium content of 0.20 mg·L-1 specified in the GB 8537-2018.Conclusion:In 2023,the drinking water quality in Zibo city was excellent, and the strontium content in the water was relatively rich. However,in some monitoring points, sodium and manganese exceeded the prescribed limits, which should be taken seriously by relevant departments.
