In order to understand the ethephon pesticide residues in commercial mangoes in Baise and its impact on the risk of chronic dietary intake,ethephon residues were determined in 105 mangoes on the market by gas chromatography,and the risk assessment of ethephon residues in mangoes was carried out according to the dietary exposure assessment system,and the risk of ethephon pesticide residues in mangoes on different populations was calculated.The results showed that ethephon residue was detected in 22 of the 105 batches of mango,with a detection rate of 20.95%.According to GB 2763-2021,the detected ethephon content is lower than the limit requirement.The chronic ingestion risk of different populations was 0.17%~0.61%,indicating that the chronic ingestion risk of ethephon pesticides in Baise commercially available mango was within the acceptable range.
