Arsenic and Mercury Pollution Status and Health Risk Assessment of Vegetables in Mentougou Area
Objective:To investigate the content level and pollution status of arsenic and mercury in fruits and vegetables in Mentougou district, and to evaluate the health risk of dietary exposure.Method:Samples of vegetables sold in the market were collected and tested.Pollution index method was used to evaluate the contamination status of the samples, and targeted hazard coefficient method was used to evaluate the health risk.Result:A total of 210 vegetable samples were detected, the median value of total arsenic was 0.016 0 mg·kg-1,and the median value of total mercury was 0.001 6 mg·kg-1.The pass rate is 100%.The evaluation results of pollution index method showed that Pi of 209 samples was less than 0.7,which was within the safe range, and the total mercury Pi of 1 vegetable sample was 0.83,which was within the warning line. The comprehensive pollution index Pn was less than 0.7,indicating that the samples were safe and uncontaminated. The targeted hazard coefficient THQ and TTHQ were both less than 1,indicating that the sample had no obvious health risk. Conclusion:The vegetables sold in Mentougou district have no obvious health risk.
