Research Progress on Detection Techniques for Lipophilic Shellfish Toxins
Lipophilic shellfish toxins are a class of shellfish toxins that accumulate in the adipose tissue of shellfish and exhibit thermal stability and solubility in organic solvents.Due to its lipophilic properties,it is prone to accumulate in living organisms and is not easily metabolized or destroyed, thereby posing potential risks to consumers. Therefore, efficient and accurate detection of such toxins is essential to ensure the safety of shellfish consumption. This paper provides a review and comparative evaluation of commonly used detection techniques for lipophilic shellfish toxins, aiming to discover effective, sensitive, and precise detection methods,to support advancements and innovations in lipophilic shellfish toxin detection technologies in the future.
