Using cellulose yield and residual protein content as evaluation indicators, the effects of NaOH concentration, temperature, and extraction duration on cellulose extraction were studied. The yield of cellulose from kelp residue is 33.46%,and the residual protein content is 0.98%when treated with a 3.0%NaOH solution at 100℃for 140 minutes.Additionally,FTIR analysis revealed that characteristic peaks attributed to cellulose were present in the extract.
