The Determination of Indicator Polychlorinated Biphenyls in Food by Gas Chromatography
Objective:To establish a gas chromatography method for the determination of indicative polychlorinated biphenyls(PCBs)in food.Method:After the samples were extracted by water bath heating and shaking, they were purified by sulfuric acid and chromatography column, and then determined by gas chromatography-electron capture detector(GC-ECD)and quantified by internal standard method.Result:The linear relationship of 7 indicative PCBs was good in the range of 5~800 μg·L-1,and the correlation coefficients were all greater than 0.999.The limit of quantification was 0.12~0.35 μg·kg-1,the RSD was 1.36%~2.55%,and the recovery rate was 62.87%~98.62%at the spiked level of 9 μg·kg-1.Conclusion:The established method has high sensitivity and good stability.PCBs were detected in 22 kinds of aquatic animals and their products randomly collected from 4 categories in Shanwei market, and the detection rate was 4.55%,and no excessive phenomenon was found.
