Research Progress on Antibiotic Resistance and Safety of Probiotic
Probiotics,as active microorganisms,are beneficial to the health of the host when given in appropriate doses.With the continuous advancement of research on the efficacy of probiotics,which has been used in many fields such as healthcare,food industry and feed industry,showing a good application prospects.However,the potential risks of probiotics cannot be ignored,such as the possibility that they may carry resistance genes that can lead to drug resistance in the body.This article reviewed the commercial applications of probiotics in China,the characteristics and transfer of drug resistance genes,and the progress of relevant laws and regulations,in order to provide a reference for the sustainable development of China's probiotic industry.
