The Optimization Strategies and Problems Faced by the CDC in Food Safety Management
Food safety related to people's health and life safety.As a professional public health agency,the centers for disease control and prevention plays an integral role in the management of food safety.This paper systematically sorted out the functions of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in food safety monitoring,risk assessment,emergency response,scientific research and other aspects,and analyzed the challenges faced by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention,including the constraints of institutional mechanisms,technical capabilities,talent teams and other aspects.On this basis,the paper put forward countermeasures and suggestions to improve the role of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in food safety management,including strengthening the legal status of disease prevention and control centers,enhancing departmental cooperation,consolidating technological support,optimizing team building,and improving global governance capabilities.The study concluded that further playing the professional advantages of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and constructing a new model of food safety management with the technical support of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention are of great significance for improving China's food safety governance ability and protect people's health.
