Evaluation of Uncertainty in Determination of Boric Acid in Meatballs by Spectrophotometry Colorimetry
The boric acid content in meatballs was determined by spectrophotometric colorimetric method. The uncertainty in the determination process was evaluated according to GUM procedure, and the synthetic and extended uncertainty were calculated. The results showed that when the content of boric acid in meatball was 79.48 mg·kg-1,the expanded uncertainty was 4.28 mg·kg-1(k=2).The uncertainty introduced by standard curve fitting, measurement repeatability and assignment of boric acid standard solution during the determination process had a great impact on the measurement results.
