Detection of Heavy Metal Migration in Food Packaging Materials by CP-MS Method
Objective:Analysis of heavy metal migration in food packaging materials based on inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry.Method:Polyethylene(PE)and Polypropylene(PP),common packaging materials, were used to detect seven heavy metal elements in packaging materials, including Cd,AS,Sb,Pb,Ni,Cr and Ba,by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry.Result:The metal elements in polyethylene and polypropylene materials exhibit good linear relationships. The detection limit of the method was 0.010~0.034 μg·L-1,the recovery rate was 89.95%~119.38%,and the precision relative standard deviation was 1.1%~5.7%.Conclusion:This method has high accuracy and fast detection speed, and is suitable for the detection of heavy metals in food packaging materials, which is worthy of popularization and application.
