Rock climbing is an outdoor or indoor sport in which participants climb rocks or artificial structures with their bare hands or with the aid of climbing equipment.As a comprehensive sport,rock climbing involves a combination of strength,endurance,skills,and strategy.Therefore,scientific and reasonable dietary supplementation is essential to maintain the strength and endurance of rock climbers during training and competition.This article systematically summarizes the dietary needs of rock climbers and puts forward reasonable dietary recommendations to ensure that rock climbers have good athletic performance.
