Development and Application of Environmentally Friendly Bio-Based Food Packaging Materials
In the food packaging industry,in the face of environmental pollution caused by traditional petroleum-based materials,bio-based materials have become the new favorite of green packaging with their renewable and degradable characteristics.However,in its development and application process,it still faces a series of challenges such as high production cost,insufficient performance stability,imperfect recycling system and low consumer awareness.Based on this,this paper analyzes the importance of food packaging materials and the rise of bio-based packaging materials,introduces the characteristics and advantages of bio-based food packaging materials,expounds the general development process of bio-based food packaging materials,and puts forward the corresponding countermeasures to the challenges faced in the development and application of bio-based food packaging materials.
