Track and field is a comprehensive sport that mainly involves running,jumping,and throwing,requiring athletes to possess good physical quality and tenacious will quality.Scientific and reasonable nutritional diet is not only related to the physical fitness of track and field athletes,but also related to the smooth progress of track and field competitions.According to the basic characteristics of track and field athletes,this paper analyzes the energy metabolism needed in training and competition,and puts forward some suggestions on diet for reference.
