The Impact of Escherichia coli Contamination on School Food Safety and Prevention Strategies
Escherichia coli is widely present in various stages of food processing and handling.Improper management can easily lead to food contamination incidents, posing a threat to human health and safety.Based on this, this study explores the potential hazards of E.coli contamination on school food safety, analyzing contamination sources across the school food supply chain and proposing systematic prevention strategies. The study finds that several stages in the food supply chain can become sources of E.coli contamination, such as procurement, transportation, storage, and processing. To effectively prevent E.coli contamination, this study proposes a system based on smart monitoring and blockchain tracing technologies, along with multi-level sanitation management and staff training mechanisms. These measures enhance the comprehensiveness and effectiveness of food safety management, providing scientific support for school food safety administration.
