Surveillance Results of Food-Borne Pathogenic Microorganisms in Sanshui District of Foshan City From 2019 to 2023
Objective:To understand the pollution status and change trend of pathogenic microorganisms in key foods in Sanshui district,Foshan city,Guangdong province,and to provide scientific basis for prevention and control of foodborne diseases.Method:Food samples were collected from 7 towns and streets in Sanshui district from 2019 to 2023,and related pathogenic microorganisms were detected according to their standard operating procedures.Result:A total of 408 samples of 15 kinds of food from 7 categories were detected during the 5-year period.Pathogenic microorganisms were detected in 70 samples of 12 kinds of food,and the total positive rate was 17.16%.The pathogenic microbial contamination of takeaway food and prepared meat products was more serious,with the total positive rate of 55.00%and 40.00%,respectively.A total of 8 pathogenic microorganisms were detected,among which the detection rates of diarrheal Escherichia coli and Bacillus cereus were 11.51%and 11.17%,respectively.The detection rate of pathogenic microorganisms in raw animal aquatic products was the highest(55.00%).Conclusion:Food in Sanshui district of Foshan city is contaminated by food-borne pathogenic microorganisms.Therefore,relevant departments should strengthen the supervision and management of food production,processing and circulation,so as to prevent the occurrence of food-borne diseases and ensure the food safety of residents.
