Determination of Fructose and Glucose in Honey by High Performance Liquid Chromatography
Objective:Establish an analytical method for determining fructose and glucose in honey using high-performance liquid chromatography.Method:The sample is extracted with ultrapure water by vortex extraction, centrifuged to remove impurities, and then filtered through a water-based membrane for detection by high-performance liquid chromatography.Result:The chromatographic separation of fructose and glucose is effective, with a good linear relationship in the range of 0.2~10.0 mg·mL-1 and correlation coefficients R greater than 0.999.The detection limits of the method are 0.2 g/100 g and the quantification limits are 0.5 g/100 g,respectively. The recovery rate of spiked samples is in the range of 90.0%~104.8%,and the relative standard deviation is 0.06%~0.57%.Conclusion:The established method is applicable for the detection of fructose and glucose in honey.
