Effects of Coriolus versicolor Polysaccharides on the Growth of Gastrointestinal Probiotics
Probiotics can improve the immune responses and regulate the ecosystem of microorganisms in the gastrointestinal tract.Polysaccharides of Coriolus versicolor were used as raw material, and the effects of polysaccharides of Coriolus versicolor on the growth of Lactobacillus plantarum,Streptococcus thermophilus,Clostridium tyrobutyricum, and Bifidobacterium adolescentis were investigated in this research. Then, the in vitro human digestive tract microecological simulation system was established by simulating the fluid environment of the stomach and small intestine, and the effects of polysaccharides of Coriolus versicolor on the probiotics were evaluated. The results showed that the polysaccharides of Coriolus versicolor could increase the number of Clostridium tyrobutyricum, and Bifidobacterium adolescentis. The polysaccharides of Coriolus versicolor could improve the tolerance of Bifidobacterium adolescentis in the fluid environment of the stomach in vitro. This study could provide a reference for the development of polysaccharides of Coriolus versicolor.
