Optimization of Extraction Process of Total Flavonoids from Luoping Zingiber officinale Roscoe and Study on Its Antioxidant Activity
Zingiber officinale Roscoe is the cash crop which can be used as medicine and food,and it has been connected with many bioactive substances.The Luoping Zingiber ofiicinale Roscoe was used as materials,and the extraction process and antioxidant activity of total flavonoids from ginger were studied.The optimal extraction conditions were determined by single factor test and orthogonal test with liquid-solid ratio,extraction temperature,extraction time and ethanol concentration as single factor and total flavonoids extraction rate as evaluation index.The scavenging effect of extract was analyzed by DPPH· and ABTS+·,in which VC was used as the control.The results showed that the optimum extraction condition was as follows:liquid-solid ratio 25∶1(g/mL),extraction temperature 80 ℃,extraction time 2.5 h and ethanol concentration 65%,and the extration rate of total flavonoids from Luoping Zingiber officinale Roscoe was 4.959%.The maximum scavenging rates of DPPH and ABTS+·radicals by the extract were 79.27%and 91.26%,respectively.The method is simple and can be used for the extraction of total flavonoids from Zingiber officinale Roscoe,and its extract has certain free radical scavenging effect.
