Population Experimental Study on the Effect of Fish Glue on Improving Skin Moisturizing and Anti-wrinkle
A double-blind randomized controlled experiment was designed to test the moisturizing and anti-wrinkle of fish glue. The moisture of cuticle, skin thickness of dermis, number, length, volume and area of skin wrinkles were measured in 60 healthy female subjects before and after using the fish glue samples for 56 d to evaluate the moisturizing and anti-wrinkle effects. The results showed that the moisture content of the cuticle increased by 15.37%,the number of skin wrinkles significantly reduced by 36.32%,the length of skin wrinkles significantly reduced by 21.60%,and the area of skin wrinkles significantly reduced by 16.22%.The results illustrate that the fish glue sample has a significant anti-wrinkle and moisturizing effects to promote the synthesis of collagen and to inhibit the activity of matrix metalloproteinases.
