Determination of PAHs in Various Edible Oils by GC-MS
PAHs(polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons)are a common class of environmental organic pollutants. With the gradual deepening of its toxicity research, various countries have formulated limited requirements.Randomly select different kinds of edible oil in the market, determine the PAHs by GC-MS,and assess its risks. The results show that the content of benzo[a]pyrene in the 15 edible oils ranges from 0.00 to 9.20 μg/kg.The sum of the contents of benzo[a]pyrene, benzo[a]anthracene, benzo[b]fluoranthene and triphenylene range from 0.00 to 28.74 μg/kg.The total amount of 16 PAHs range from 0.00 to 72.47 μg/kg.At random online purchase of 10 copies of sesame oil for determination, the content of benzo[a]pyrene in the 16 edible oils ranges from 0.00 to 6.76 μg/kg.The sum of the contents of benzo[a]pyrene, benzo[a]anthracene, benzo[b]fluoranthene and triphenylene range from 0.00 to 9.64 μg/kg.The total amount of 16 PAHs range from 0.00 to 16.18 μg/kg.The levels of PAH in vegetable oils varies greatly, some parts have food safety risks, and export enterprises should also pay attention to the contents of benzo[a]pyrene, benzo[a]anthracene, benzo[b]fluoranthene and triphenylene.
