Quality Evaluation of Glycyrrhiza uralensis from Different Origins Based on Chemometrics
In order to comprehensively evaluate the quality of Glycyrrhiza uralensis from different Origins, the liquiritin, glycyrrhizic acid, moisture, total ash,acid-insoluble ash,Pb,Cd,As,Hg,Cu,pentachloronitrobenzene and sulfur dioxide residues in 29 batches of Glycyrrhiza uralensis samples from 9 cities/states of Gansu,Inner Mongolia and Xinjiang were determined, and the quality and classification of Glycyrrhiza uralensis were evaluated by chemometrics.Cluster analysis and PCA were performed using OriginPro2023 software. The cluster analysis of samples and variables were consistent with the PCA,in which the Lanzhou samples in Gansu were similar to those in Xinjiang;Wuwei and Jinchang samples in Gansu,Ordos samples in Inner Mongolia and Jiuquan samples in Gansu were similar, and the 3 groups of samples were similar to Baiyin samples in Gansu. The OPLS-DA was performed using SIMCA14.1 software. As,Cu,total ash, liquiritin and glycyrrhizic acid were the representative differences among the 6 groups. This study could provide a reference for the selection of raw material origins of Glycyrrhiza uralensis in the process of industrial application.
