Rapid Detection of Cyanide Using Rhodamine B Hydrazide Schiff Base Fluorescent Probe
Due to the significant harm of cyanide to human health and the ecological environment,it is of great significance to study detection methods for low concentration cyanide.Based on the current poor timeliness of cyanide detection technology, the optimized QuEChERS technology was applied to the pre-treatment of cyanide detection samples to eliminate matrix interference, and a specific sensor was constructed using rhodamine B hydrazide schiff base fluorescent probe and copper ions to achieve visual and rapid detection of cyanide in industrial wastewater. The experimental results show that the minimum detection limit is 0.012 μg/mL,and the sensitivity is significantly improved. There was a good linear relationship in the concentration range of 0-0.015 μg/mL.Other anions, including Cl-,I-,IO3-,SO42-,NO2-,Br-,H2PO4-,F-,SCN-,HSO4-and ClO4-,had almost no effect on the detection behavior of cyanide. This technology has the advantages of speed, sensitivity, economy, and environmental protection, and was suitable for rapid on-site detection of cyanide in complex matrices.
