Study on the Removal of Small Molecules in Konjac Glucomannan Gel Process
Study the small molecules that are removed from Konjac Glucomannan(KGM)hydrosol by irreversible gel formation process under the action of NaOH.Reagent konjac glucomannan(KGM)and Konjac dry underground tuber powder are prepared into hydrosol and placed in NaOH solution for 20 h,then distilled. The distilled solution is absorbed by sulfuric acid.Amines are detected by ion chromatography, and NH3 is quantitatively detected according to HJ 534-2009.The residual liquid after distillation is adjusted to strong acid with phosphoric acid, and the volatile acid is collected by distillation again. The acidic substance is detected by gas chromatography, and the total volatile acid is quantitatively detected according to NY 82.16-1988.The results show that, reagent KGM and Konjac dry underground tuber powder can remove NH3 and formate under the action of NaOH,the amount of NH3 removed is 0.009 9 mol/100 g and 0.005 3 mol/100 g,respectively, and the total volatile acid removed is 0.034 3 mol/100 g and 0.014 9 mol/100 g,respectively.KGM can release NH3 and formate to form irreversible gel in alkaline environment.
