Teaching Reform of the School-Based Undergraduate Curriculum"Sample Preparation Technology in Food Safety Testing"
Sample Preparation Technology in Food Safety Testing,a school-based curriculum,was developed by the Food Quality and Safety major of Tianshui Normal University enhancing the cultivation ability in food safety testing.Duly incorporating the achievements of teaching reform at home and abroad,the requirements of testing job in food industry and program accreditation were integrated into the entire curriculum construction process,and the sample preparation processes in the national food testing standards were selected as the main reference for course contents by the teaching team.In the teaching process,attempt to transform the curriculum objectives into explicit and implicit teaching ones,in which the latter was effectively integrated into the former,focusing on the cultivation of disciplinary thinking in implicit objectives.The teaching model characterized with case-based teaching and inquiry-based learning was therefore formed,and the significant results were achieved in the teaching reform.The results of teaching practice were introduced,mainly including the course concepts and objectives,the contents and the teaching,as well as the evaluation,providing certain references for the construction and teaching reform of food testing related courses.
