Research on the Educational Reform of Inorganic and Analytical Chemistry Courses for Food Majors under the Concept of OBE
Inorganic and analytical chemistry are compulsory foundational courses for students majoring in food science and engineering. They serve as the basis for subsequent mandatory courses in food specialization and play a crucial role in training professionals in food production, quality testing, and supervision positions.Guided by the Outcome-Based Education(OBE)concept and considering the characteristics of the food discipline, the longstanding issues such as the abundance of course content, the lack of correlation between theory and practice and the insufficient integration of ideological and political elements have to be addressed.By restructuring the course content, building an online teaching platform, and incorporating ideological and political education, these initiatives have significantly bolstered students'sense of belonging to the food industry and their professional responsibilities.
