As a natural product,okra plant polysaccharides have received extensive attention from domestic and foreign researchers due to their anticancer,antioxidant,antiviral,lipid-lowering and immunoregulatory functions.This paper has summarized the research on polysaccharides of okra plants in recent years,and looks forward to the prospect of their development and utilization,with the aim of providing a scientific basis for the research and development of polysaccharides of okra plants.
