Detection and Analysis of Pesticide Residues in Fruits and Vegetables in Meixian District
In order to explore the current situation of pesticide residues in fruits and vegetables in Meixian,this study used detection methods such as gas chromatography(GC)and high-performance liquid chromatography(HPLC)to detect and analyze pesticide residues in fruits and vegetables in Meixian.The experimental results show that the pesticide residues in most fruit and vegetable products in Meixian District are within the safe range,with a qualification rate of 93.5%for vegetable samples and 85.7%for fruit samples.However,there are still some fruit and vegetable samples with high pesticide residue detection rates,and the situation of exceeding the standard is relatively serious.For example,the detection rate of chlorpyrifos poisoning in Meizhou pomelo is the highest,at 16.1%;The detection rate of Fusarium oxysporum in strawberries is the highest,at 16.7%.It is concerning that 10.5%of all detected vegetable samples have pesticide residues exceeding 1 mg/kg.In summary,the pesticide residues in most fruits and vegetables in Meixian district are within the safety standard range.However,Meixian district is located in the hilly area of Lingnan and has a suitable climate,which leads to a fast reproduction rate of diseases and pests,and some fruits and vegetables have exceeded the pesticide usage limit.This study aims to evaluate the levels of pesticide residues in different types of fruits and vegetables,in order to provide strong support for food safety supervision and to ensure that the general public can enjoy safe and healthy fruit and vegetable products.
