Study on Ultrasonic-Assisted Extraction and Antioxidant Activity of Total Polyphenols from Agrimoniae herba
In order to study the optimal extraction technology of total polyphenols from Agrimoniae herba with ultrasonic-assisted extraction, and to further explore the antioxidant activity of the extracts in vitro, the single factor experiment was designed with ethanol volume fraction, ultrasonic time and extraction temperature, and the orthogonal experimental design was selected to optimize the process parameters. The antioxidant activity of total polyphenols from Agrimoniae herba was also studied by taking the DPPH free radical scavenging activity of total polyphenols. The results showed that the optimum condition for ultrasonic assisted extraction of total polyphenols was listed as follows:ethanol concentration 80%,ultrasonic working time 50 min,and extraction temperature 45 ℃.Under the optimal condition, the extraction rate of total polyphenols reached 18.23±0.18 mg/mL.In addition, the DPPH free radical scavenging test showed that the extract had certain antioxidant activity in vitro. The extract of Agrimoniae herba has good antioxidant activity, which could be used in the research and development of related health products, and it is also helpful to the development of Agrimoniae herba resources and can improve its comprehensive utilization value.
