As one of the core courses for graduate students majoring in food,"Food Safety Cases"combines knowledge and application, aiming to cultivate students'analytical and critical thinking abilities,as well as their ability to respond to and handle food safety accidents, laying the foundation for cultivating high-level and versatile professionals in the field of food processing and safety.Against the backdrop of traditional case-based teaching(CBT)models, utilizing the resources of the China Professional Degree Teaching Case Center,project-based learning(PBL)can be applied to the construction of the"Food Safety Cases"course, which helps to give full play to students'subjectivity and to enhance students'enthusiasm for participating in the classroom. This practice divides the teaching process into three stages, namely project preparation stage, project implementation stage and project evaluation stage, with a focus on cultivating students'ability to solve practical problems, and their food safety awareness and social responsibility.A multi-dimensional assessment and evaluation system is used to comprehensively assess the various abilities of students in different stages. The teaching reform has achieved the expected teaching objectives and significantly improved the teaching quality, providing some reference for the teaching reforms of other courses.
