Integrate inquiry projects into blended learning mode for teaching practice, and observe the effectiveness of teaching reform and its impact on the self-efficacy of college students in learning. The experimental group(n=33)and the control group(n=28)are both junior undergraduate students majoring in food hygiene and nutrition, with the compulsory course"Food Safety"as the teaching content. The experimental group adopts project-based teaching+blended teaching mode, while the control group adopts project-based teaching+traditional teaching mode.A comparative analysis is conducted on the achievement of course objectives and learning self-efficacy of the two groups of students. The results show that the overall achievement rate of the experimental group's course objectives is 89.3%,while the control group achieves 83.5%.Diversification,openness,and timeliness of learning content, and the richness of learning materials and group collaborative learning are the main factors that promote the self-efficacy of college students in learning through exploration projects under the blended learning model. The redesigned exploration project in the blended learning mode can stimulate the self-efficacy of college students, promote their attitudes and behaviors towards self-directed learning, and thus improve the achievement of course objectives.
