Analysis of Current Situation of Functional Foods for Glycemic Control at Home and Abroad
Diabetes,as one of the four non-infectious diseases,has a long course of disease and is affected by genetics,physiological,environment and behavioral factors.Clinical medications include Biguanides,α-glycosidase inhibitors,Glinides(repaglinide and nateglinide),etc.,may be a risk of liver damage.Compared with drugs,functional foods are widely accepted by consumers because of their mild efficacy and no adverse reactions.The article collects more than 50 kinds of functional hypoglycemic foods through online and offline pharmacies,and then analyzes their brand names,specifications,origins,ingredients and other information.The products include domestic health foods and foreign cross-border functional foods,involving tablets,powders,capsules and other forms.This study is in order to reveal the current situation of hypoglycemic products and raw materials at home and abroad,and to understand the raw material cognition of Chinese market consumers from the side,so as to provide new ideas for brand owners and raw material suppliers to develop better functional foods for glycemic control and composite high-efficiency raw materials.
