A Study on the Extraction of Polyphenols and Flavonoids from Grape Skin Seeds and Its Antioxidant Properties bv Deep Eutectic Solvent Process
This research utilized Hontan red grape peels and seeds as raw materials, and employed a deep eutectic solvent(DES)method to extract polyphenols and flavonoids, comparing the results with extraction using 80%ethanol as the solvent.Through single-factor experiments and response surface methodology optimization, the optimal extraction conditions were determined, and the scavenging ability of the extract on DPPH and ABTS+free radicals was analyzed. The results indicated that the optimal DES composition was choline chloride-lactic acid(1∶2)with a water content of 20%.The best extraction conditions were an extraction temperature of 50 ℃,an extraction time of 35 minutes, and a solid-to-liquid ratio of 1∶26(g/mL).Under these conditions, the average extraction yield of flavonoids was 57.46 mg/g,and the average extraction yield of polyphenols was 79.81 mg/g.The extract from grape peels and seeds exhibited significant antioxidant activity.
