Research Hotspots and Development Trends in Food Testing Based on SCI Journal Articles
Food testing is one of the crucial safeguards to reduce food contamination and foodborne diseases.The Bibliometrix package based on R language to conduct a bibliometric analysis of SCI papers on food testing is used.The results show that food testing research is increasingly drawing attention from multiple disciplines,with a core group of authors devoting sustained interest into this topic over the long term.The works on this area primarily originate from scholars in developed countries such as Europe,the United States,and emerging economies including China,India,and Brazil.The research in this field is currently focusing on detection methods,technologies,standards,and applications related to food allergies and food safety.Future research in food detection can benefit from interdisciplinary collaboration with medical and other related sciences,aiming to provide more scientific evidence to enhance the role of food detection in safeguarding public health.
