Research progress in leaves and fruit of Vaccinium Bracteatum Thunb
Vaccinium Bracteatum Thunb.(VBT),a traditional Chinese herbal medicine,is widely grown throughout China,which belongs to the same genus as blueberry.There are some functional components in its leaves and fruits,which have many physiological functions,such as anti-oxidant,anti-aging,and anti-tumor.The physical and chemical properties,physiological functions of the components in leaves and fruits had been summarized in this article,which was helpful to develop and utilize VBT.
