Research Progress on Extraction,Purification,and Structure-Activity Relationship of Polysaccharides from Honeysuckle Lonicera japonica Thunb.
As a medicinal and edible plant,honeysuckle(Lonicera japonica Thunb.)has good edible value and medicinal value.Honeysuckle polysaccharide is a kind of pure natural polysaccharide,which has the efficacy of enhancing immunity,antioxidant,hypoglycemic,anti-inflammatory,and inhibiting the aggregates of amyloidβ(Aβ).It has a broad development prospect in the fields of daily necessities,functional foods and medical supplies in the future.This paper mainly summarizes the extraction,purification methods,structural characterization of honeysuckle polysaccharides in recent years,and discusses the relationship between its structure and biological activity.The current problems to be solved and the future development direction are prospected,aiming to provide theoretical support and new development ideas for the application and research of honeysuckle polysaccharides in the health industry.
