Optimization of Extraction Process of Flavonoids from Beetroot and Its Effect on Anti-Exercise Fatigue
Through single factor test and response surface analysis, the effects of solid-liquid ratio, ethanol volume fraction and ultrasonic time on the yield of beetroot flavonoid were studied. The anti-exercise fatigue activities of different concentrations of beetroot flavonoid extract were compared by exhaustion swimming fatigue model in mice. The results showed that when the ratio of solid to liquid was 1∶40(g/mL),the volume fraction of ethanol was 60%and the extraction time was 60 min,the flavonoid yield of beetroot reached 3.34%.The anti-exercise fatigue test showed that compared with the blank control group, the administration of 50-200 mg/kg beetroot flavone had no effect on the growth weight of mice, and with the increase of the gavage dose, the exhaustive exercise time of mice was significantly prolonged in a dose-dependent manner.
