Selenoprotein Extraction of Cardamine violifolia by Aqueous Enzymatic Method
The cruciferous plant Cardamine violifolia is rich in protein and has a strong ability to gather selenium.Studies show that its selenium speciation mainly exists in the organic selenium form, which is a good food raw material source of organic selenium from plant. In this paper, the effects of four different extraction factors, such as material granularity,solid-liquid ratio, temperature and extraction time,on the protein content of the selenoprotein, and the selenium content and speciation of the extracted selenoprotein were analyzed. The results showed that the granularity was 80 meshs, the solid-liquid ratio was 1∶15,the enzyme extraction temperature was 50 ℃,and the extraction time was 4 h,the extract selenoprotein content was 35.8%,the selenium content of selenoprotein was 1892.76 mg/kg,and its selenium form was mainly selenocystine/selenocysteine,accounting for 78.8%of the total selenium content. The organic selenium content could reach 97.34%,and the inorganic selenium was 2.66%.
