Extraction Methods and Application Prospects of Active Substances from Rose Dregs
Rose dregs are abundant in flavonoids, polyphenols, and polysaccharides, which exhibit bioactive properties including antioxidant,anti-inflammatory,and anticancer effects. These compounds hold great potential for diverse applications in the fields of food science, cosmetics industry, and pharmaceutical research. The conventional solvent extraction method is widely employed for the extraction of bioactive components from rose residues. However, this approach encounters challenges including limited efficiency, excessive solvent consumption, and adverse environmental impact.Consequently, scholars have developed environmentally sustainable technologies such as microwave-assisted extraction,ultrasound-assisted extraction, and supercritical fluid extraction to address these challenges. These innovative techniques offer notable advantages including simplified operation, accelerated extraction time, reduced solvent consumption, and enhanced environmental compatibility. The present review offers a comprehensive introduction to the valuable constituents found in rose dregs, highlighting the comparison between conventional extraction methods and environmentally friendly extraction techniques, while also examining factors influencing the purity of target compounds.Furthermore,it explores the application of cascade extraction methods for recovering diverse types of target compounds.Ultimately,it is imperative to extensively investigate and enhance the extraction techniques pertinent to rose dregs and their application fields,in order to provide robust support for the efficient utilization of such resources.
