Qualitative Detection Methods of Animal Derived Ingredients in Duck Blood by Real-Time Fluorescence PCR
Objective:In order to detect the adulteration of animal derived ingredients in duck blood products,a qualitative detection method was developed in this paper for real-time fluorescence polymerase chain reaction(PCR)of animal derived components such as chicken, duck, goose, pig, cow, and sheep in duck blood.Method:The method investigated the impact of three different DNA extraction methods on the results, explored the detection limit of the method, and tested 51 duck blood samples. Results:The DNA concentration and amplification efficiency extracted by drying and weighing were the highest, and the sensitivity of the method could reach 1%.In actual samples detection,8 out of 51 duck samples were found to have other animal derived ingredients. Conclusion:This method realize the qualitative detection of other animal derived components in duck blood, providing strong technical support for law enforcement and regulatory authorities.
