Optimization of Extraction Process of Flavonoids from Adinandra nitida Merr.ex.H.L.Li and Antiviral and Antibacterial Activities
In order to optimize the extraction process of flavonoid components from Adinandra nitida and to explore its antiviral and antibacterial properties, this study employed cellulase-assisted solvent reflux extraction to extract flavonoids from A.nitida.The total flavonoid yield and the yields of representative compounds such as adinatrin A and apigenin were used as indicators.Orthogonal test design was utilized to optimize the extraction process.Additionally, the study investigated the inhibitory effects of flavonoid components in A.nitida on Coxsackie virus B5(CVB5)and bacteria including Escherichia coli,Staphylococcus aureus, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. The findings indicated that the optimal extraction conditions are a solid-liquid ratio of 1∶60,pH value of 4.0,cellulase solution at 0.2%,enzymatic hydrolysis at 50 ℃ for 1 hour, and reflux extraction for 1.5 hours.Under these conditions, the yield of flavonoid components in A.nitida reached 37.18%.The high-dose group of flavonoid components demonstrated potent antiviral and in vitro antibacterial activities. This research offers theoretical support for the development and application of A.nitida.
