Analysis of bacterial diversity in goats' milk from Guanzhong region of Shaanxi province
To fully understand the microbial diversity of goat milk, the microbial composition of the goat milk from Yangling,Baoji and Weinan region of Shaanxi province were studied using the 16S rRNA sequencing method targeting at the V3-V4 region.A total of 225 424 high-quality sequences were obtained, with average of 673 Operational taxonomic units (OTUs) per sample. The analysis of microbial composition showed distribution in 27 phyla.Proteobacteria dominated the microbiota in all goat milk samples. It accounted for 91.15% of total population in the sample from Weinan region. Also,Proteobacteria accounted for 62.44% and 60.33% in samples from Yangling and Baoji area respectively. There were 354 genera, and the dominant genus,Enterobacter, which account for 37.41%,33.82% and 2.87% in samples from Weinan,Yanglin and Baoji area respectively. At species level,Pseudomonas aeruginosa dominated within the 826 species. It accounted for 7.96%,4.34% and 3.20% in samples from Weinan,Yanglin and Baoji area respectively. The composition analysis showed the highest microbial diversity in goat milk from Yangling and Baoji. The bacterial composition distribution in goat milk differentiated at certain degree. However, the overall differences were small, and they all exhibited substantial similarities.
