GC-MS Analysis of Petroleum Ether Extract from Cyclocarya paliurus
To study the chemical constituents of petroleum ether extract from cyclocarya paliurus. Petroleum ether soaking method is used to extract cyclocarya paliurus leaves. The extract was concentrated and dried, and then dissolved in hexane. The chemical composition was determined by gas chromatography mass spectrometry (GC-MS), then compare and analyze of mass spectra and standard spectral library, and calculate the relative content of various substances by peak area normalization method. The result indicates that the chemical con-stituents of the petroleum ether fraction of cyclocarya paliurus are mainly composed of aliphatic compounds, aromatic compounds, quasi aromatic compounds, alkaloids, steroids, terpenoids. The contents of the 5 sub-stances including n-Hexadecanoic acid, Phytol,(Z,Z,Z)-9,12,15-Octadecatrienoic acid, 1-Nonadecene, beta-Sitosterol are relatively more, respectively, 17.15%, 10.23%, 27.24%, 9.21%, 12.11%. The research shows that cyclocarya paliurus leaves as tea has a very good health care function, especially in the treatment of"three high disease".
