Study on Antifatigue Effect of Broussonetia papyrifera Fruit Polysaccharide in Mice
The anti-fatigue effect of Broussonetia papyrifera fruit polysaccharide on mice was studied. The mice were randomly divided into four groups: blank group,Broussonetia papyrifera fruit polysaccharide low dose group(20 mg/kg),medium dose group(50 mg/kg)and high dose group(80 mg/kg).All groups were treated by gavage for 21 consecutive days, the swimming time, lactate dehydrogenase, blood urea nitrogen and liver glycogen content in mice were measured. The results showed that the polysaccharides could increase the swimming endurance of mice, which was significantly different from that of the blank group(P<0.05).The polysaccharide could increase the reserve of muscle glycogen and liver glycogen, the activity of lactate dehydrogenase and reduce the content of urea nitrogen in mice before and after exercise, providing more energy substances for the body and delay the generation of fatigue.
